Welcome to Swapnil's Azure + AI Series
Meet your instructor, understand why Azure matters, see the full course roadmap, and get excited about your cloud journey before the first technical topic.
“Hello everyone, welcome to the Azure Fundamentals Series. My name is Swapnil, and in this series we're going to learn Microsoft Azure from absolute beginner level. Whether you're a student, a software developer, a tester, a DevOps engineer, or someone looking to transition into cloud computing, this series is designed for you. We'll not only cover Azure certification concepts, but also understand how cloud technologies are actually used in real-world projects.”
“You might be wondering, why should I learn Azure? Today, almost every organization is moving its applications and infrastructure to the cloud. Whether you're learning Azure, AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Data Engineering, or even Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing is the foundation for everything. If you want to build AI applications in the future, understanding cloud fundamentals is extremely important.”
“In this series, we'll start with cloud fundamentals and gradually move towards Azure services, networking, storage, security, and eventually Azure AI and real-world implementations. The goal is not just to pass an exam, but to actually understand how Azure works in real projects.”
“This is the roadmap we'll follow. Today we're starting with Cloud Computing because before learning Azure, it's important to understand the problem that cloud computing solved. Each step builds on the previous one — by the end of this series you'll have the knowledge and projects to land an Azure role.”
“By the end of this video, you'll understand what cloud computing is, why organizations use it, and the difference between IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS using practical examples. Let's get started.”
“Let's understand cloud computing with a simple example. Imagine you want to open a restaurant. You have two options. The first option is to buy land, construct the building, purchase furniture, install electricity, and hire maintenance staff. This requires a huge investment. The second option is to rent a fully equipped restaurant space and start serving customers immediately. Which option would be faster and cheaper? Most people would choose the second option. Cloud computing works in a very similar way. Instead of buying servers, you rent them from Microsoft Azure and pay only for what you use.”
